November 10, 20223 yr The kind of turbulence experience I got on the flight below is different. But I am running FS Realistic if that matters. And, indeed, there is also a bit of the yaw-turbulence which I noticed only after reading this thread. Paul Schmidt We're fools to make war on our brothers in arms.
November 10, 20223 yr I think this vid I found on youtube is good presentation of light to moderate turbulence . Note at 0:27 a nice little bump. Back in a days one of my flying buddy hit cockpit ceiling after one of those bumps . To nail down if it's a FM issue or core sim issue that effects *all* aircraft, would be good for those experiencing this side-to-side to list which exact aircraft they're experiencing this in. As for myself, like Bob, don't see it in the ones I regularly fly like the Milviz C310 or Fenix A320 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

I ended up with my Jeppesen airman handbook stamped on my left cheek after my instructor and I hit "moderate" turbulence... no more lose items after that day Enrique Vaamonde

And I think the excessive yaw movement is very pronounced in the Vertigo as well. I tried to ask the dev of the Sting about this in that other thread, but I think my question went unnoticed. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

A feature >=SU9 that can be used in developing flight models for aircraft. Coming in SU11, Asobo is also employing it in simulating atmospheric airflow, thermals, turbulence, etc. See FSReborn developer's (Sting S4) and iniBuilds devs' thoughts on it below given their use of it in their aircraft... here's a list of current aircraft that use it: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/new-propeller-cfd-soft-body-simulation-airplane-list/504719/100 Edited November 10, 20223 yr by lwt1971 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD
