It's Dead

Recommended Posts

Haven't been able to install it yet because of the issues everyone else is seeing. Definitely related to server timeouts based network activity from the MSFS exe:

{"code":400,"status":"BadRequest","error":"CloudScriptAzureFunctionsExecutionTimeLimitExceeded","errorCode":1470,"errorMessage":"The function GetUserLocations was terminated after the maximum execution time limit: 10000ms"}

When this happens, MSFS then calls 6 other APIs, including the "GetUserLocations", and it perpetually loops

The problem with Schrödinger's "cat's still alive in the box" theory is that you can smell the dead cat in the box before you open it.

Not if its been less than a few hours.

I got everything installed but my attempt at a marketplace purchase failed.

Got thru the install and Marketplace Updates.  Then online functionality went haywire.

I rebooted the sim and made it all the way back in but she went offline again.  Out of curiosity I checked the Options and all Online functions were set to OFF.  I turned them all back on but it didn't help.

I don't know if this occurred because of their server disconnects or is a bug in the Update.  I was going to fly by setting weather manually, but the constant intermittent Offline Warning flag keeps blocking access to setting up the aircraft fuel levels, etc. making it impossible to fly.  I'm giving up for now - will try this evening,,,

Downloaded all of  the content,  but the servers are down.   Oh well, try again later.   /off to finish grinding for my Crocodile flamethrower in War Thunder.

The Jenny really caught my eye,   think I'll have to try it second.    Right after I recreate the flight of the Hughes Hercules.

Then I'll concentrate on gliders for a while.

//Lindy was completely nuts!   He's the ultimate IFR iron man.   That cockpit would have been a dreadful place to spend 33 hours and 30 minutes.

I do the same, though it's usually because I'm at work and have no other choice 😄  Blessing in disguise.

Along with the connection issues I am getting major sound issues. Any and all aircraft near me are at 100 volume despite turning "other aircraft" volume down.

Obnoxious.

No thanks. Going to do something else until their mess is fixed.
