WT Garmin GNS 430W and 530W (Early Access)

We're super pleased to announce the beginning of Early Access for the Garmin GNS 430W and 530W instruments, available now in the Marketplace! These units faithfully replicate the real GNS units, and feature full WAAS/SBAS support, missed approaches, our full flight plan system, working VNAV page, a ton of settings, ADS-B traffic, accurate visuals, and a bunch more. These units rely a bit more heavily on compatibility with third party aircraft, due to the necessity for wiring to custom aircraft CDIs and autopilots, so your third party aircraft of choice may not work right away out of the box. Don't fear, we'll be working with third party developers over the course of this early access period to ensure that they are working with best practices within their code to make things work properly. Thanks to everyone for their continued support of us and MSFS, and we hope you enjoy!

Woohoo! Great to finally see this!

This is very good stuff guys.  It's like the RXP GNS of old times.

Works in any equipped GNS aircraft default or addon (some caveats with GTN and GNS panels)

For example....

So are they saying that if an aircraft has the ability to select either the GNS or a third-party GTN in the panel, it won't work right for either one?  The wording confused me a little, so decided to hold off on installing it.

There are some issues with the autopilot on aircraft which have selectable gps like the c310, analog king air etc.  The 414 is okay because FSW has separate models assigned to each gps.  This affects both TDS and PMS

Yea... that's why I think I may wait a bit.  I don't really want to give up the GTN in some aircraft to get an enhanced GNS.

I see this is making a big splash amongst all the other toys. 😅

Can't blame folks, honestly, there's just a ton of really great stuff that just dropped. It's a fun time to sim!

Thank you and the team for the nice work on the GNSs, Matt!

You should remove pms gns.

You can have both, and install the one you want for certain flights using the Addons Linker

I would love to see WT do a GTN 750. That would be amazing to have all these toys built directly into the core of the sim. The less we can rely on 3rd party apps, the better.

I think the gns units will always be in the shadow of the much more ui friendly gtn mods.  That said, I can certainly appreciate the effort that’s gone into upgrading these core modules and will for sure be using them on supported aircraft.
