What an awesome plane

Recommended Posts

I don’t know, how you think about it, but this 40th anniversary present from MS/Asobo is for me like Xmas, Eastern and my birthday all happen at the same day. And, again, at least for me, this Hughes H-4 Spruce Goose is one of the many highlights.

I'm here in Juneau. See that tiny Beaver at the end of the left wing?

Also the interior does not disappoint

Even Howard’s felt hat has not been forgotten

This looks even more complicated than in a B-29 😉

This chart compares the Spruce Goose with the A380, 747 and An-225 Mriya. She was not the longest, but surely the widest plane

Great shots, the aircraft is so huge and slow that it looks like it’s barely moving at takeoff and touchdown.  I’m really glad they included this one!

Awesome shots Bernd.  I haven't tried it yet, how do you control all eight engines?  Mouse?  Did you bind them to a controller somehow?

I have a fairly simple Logitech Extreme joystick that controls all engines at the same time. If I want to control them one by one, I use my mouse

Thanks Bernd, but in order to control them all, what binding did you use in Options?

Cool!  Thanks Bernd.  I flew it today, it's a behemoth but it sure was pretty.

Excellent views of his giant plane Bernd.

I wasn't expecting so much interior detail, it looks very well one.

A first class post Bernd. I have enjoyed only one flight so far. Very nice! 🙂
