Inibuilds A310 WASM Compile Fix - Anyone?

Recommended Posts

So the performance issues experienced by some of us seem to be caused by the compile optimizations not running when we first launch the aircraft as per:

You can try this:

- Enable DevMode, then start a flight, or enable it when you are already in flight.

- From the DevMode menu, be sure "Enable Fast WASM compilation" is DISABLED

- EXIT from the sim.

- Remove this folder, if your MSFS is from MS Store:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300

or this one, if you are on Steam:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulato\packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300

- Restart the sim, it will recompile the WASM code with Fast compilation Disabled. Now you can disable DevMode, if you don't use it.

The above doesn't work for me - does anyone have a workaround until we get an official fix?

I will no doubt be corrected if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that the newly released aircraft were available in the public beta. Is the developer acknowledging that the fast compilation process is the source of the problem?

Considering that this is the very first thing that happens to EVERY install of the A310, it is somewhat of a surprise that it was not detected during beta testing.....

Some tried the Marketplace CRJ and also noticed an issue with WASM and the DLL path not populating correctly.

They are are aware it's an issue with WASM / Possible encryption issue and are in discussing it with Asobo.

None of the aircraft were part of the public beta test of SU11.

I wouldn't be surprised if the aircraft were not encrypted during internal testing.

It seems this bug effects all encrypted aircraft.

Yeah it's effecting encrypted aircraft. It also effects the Volocopter which is also encrypted.

Thanks all - lets hope there is an update for this on Tuesday (which is usually when hot fixes get released).

Considering it was found out during the weekend, I doubt it will be that fast.

This seems to be an issue on Asobo's end regarding encrypted aircraft.

Is this the cause of the poor performance (FPS) of the aircraft. If you rotate your camera around you get FPS LOSS and don't even try to load an AI traffic no matter what the load percentage is, the FPS will get server hit!?

Yes, this is verified by the developers as the cause for poor FPS.
