These retail at $600 USD. Now $299. Free shipping. Free returns. Direct from HP itself.

Sale is probably only for 1 or 2 more days.

This is for the newer version of the G2, with the better wire and has the on/off button on the switchbox.

The old version  with the old wire never worked for me, something about compatibility with motherboard. This newer version works perfectly.

So much better performance than my Quest2 headset.

How exactly do you get "netter performance" when you need to push more resolution...?

Kinda funny that the 3/Yr warranty is $310 you're better off buying two.

I don't know but multiple youtube reviewers say it's true. And I can see better performance (way better), but I'm just one guy and you can't go by one report.

This reviewer says the G2 is temperamental. The old version was. The new version works every time (even this guy says so in all his new videos, and I find it to be true).

Really wish HP would make the Reverb G2 available in other markets BEFORE giving these crazy discounts to US customers only. There is clearly excess supply if they can offer it at half the price in the US. We've got HP stores in South Africa, but the HP Reverb was NEVER on offer here (only printers etc). I would happily have bought one at MSRP, but instead had to buy it on Amazon from one of the scalper traders at a small mark-up. You will never see these deep discounts on Amazon, so anyone outside the US is excluded from that. It almost makes one dislike HP in a way.

There have been some rumors online that HP was getting out of virtual reality and that was why prices have been slashed. Haven’t seen anything official from HP.
