RealTraffic alternative ?

Recommended Posts

Hi Kiek,

Ive been away for sometime while investigating FSLTL and the AIG setups, now facing the SU11 from Microsoft and it consequencies for the live traffic performance. I just wonder if you ever considered to base your data input from FR24 instead of "RealTraffic from Inside Systems Pty Ltd" as an option due to the fact that aircrafts behaviour on the ground is more according to the airport taxway paths and gate approach/departures, atleast when I compare with FSLTL version?

That would solve the transponder quality issues I guess and give the aircraft definitely a smoother performance on ground.

I know there is a bucket of issues in such setup but think it could be solved with your intelligent software, dont you and furhtermore we would not have to pay repetingly money to Australia...

Not sure you fully understand what Real Traffic and PSXT actually do.

Hi Akki,

PSXT is a real time traffic program, FSLTL is not...

Real time traffic data from FR24 is much more expensive then RT. Hence it is  not an option. RT is by far the cheepest RT data provider and that's because RT is a hobby and a not for profit project.

I dont know what you mean with the ground behaviour. PSXT aircraft take the right actual taxiways and runways, contrary to FSLTL...
