Some nice black Friday deals!...

Recommended Posts

Not only did I pick up a nice new 2TB Samsung NVMe drive the other day (on Amazon) just for MSFS, I have helped to start filling my new drive with the JustFlight BAe 146, which seems highly regarded, and also a nice bit of HJet from Orbx (to see what all the fuss is about).  Both at nicely discounted black Friday prices.  Problem is, at this rate, I will have more aircraft than I can ever fly!  I need to slow down.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

check bargain section in this forum. I graped EBBR, EDDN, EGGD, LYPG, LYTV at orbxdirect. Nice deals and good airports,  I guess. Especially EBBR is probably one of the best I have seen so far in MSFS.

I’m tempted by the Real Taxiways USA & Europe from JustFlight, to add proper signage to airports as it’s down from £30 to £22, but I’m not sure it it’s recommended by others?

Here you go Rob.

My mistake on the HJet - it turns out it isn't discounted.  It just turns out it was a lot cheaper than I thought!  I bought it through the Orbx app as I like the way it updates.

If you have an open connection I'd go internal for sure. Or use Addon Linker to store your addons on an external drive and then copy over those addons into the Community folder as needed if $$ is a concern.

That has been going on for at least 5 years now and they turned it more into a week of sales instead of just a day.
