Yes, I think it is more of a week long thing now.  It also seems to include 'Cyber Monday', which is another recently invented thing.
I can't complain either as I have done well out of it.  I just added up that I have saved at least £110 - on things I wouldn't normally buy or need unfortunately!

They still need to catch up with my local Sofa and Carpet shops though - they have sales all year round!

looool.

My local carpet shop 'Original Oriental Carpets' has sales all year as well, never seen their windows without a huge SALE sign. 😄

Captain Sim do have some meagre sales. Was aiming for 737CL for p3d / 767 II / 757 III / L-1011. But altogether still steep. Better wait for 9.99 sale.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I highly recommend the TM Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ it is absolutely wonderful!  Esp the yoke but the TQ is a great fit for my needs as well.  The yoke sports magnetic sensors and long ranges in each axis.  And the set is vastly cheaper than the high-end yokes like Fulcrum/Yoko and yet will do everything and then some over those yokes.  Great price at Amazon today:

I looked for Nvdia 4080 or perhaps even 4090 deals but couldn't find any worth noting, at least not in Germany. Perhaps Cyber Monday will do the job. Otherwise I'll have to bite the bullet and just give what they ask for (which is an effrontery).😭

Kind regards, Michael

'Currently unavailable' in the UK, so you can get out of here Noel - I'm not buying it.    It does look really good though.

( @bobcat999 ) A rather excellent deal from Currys ( in the UK ) ...£100 off the Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant (down from £249 to £149)

https://www.currys.co.uk/products/honeycomb-bravo-throttle-quadrant-flight-controller-black-10221734.html

I'm sorely tempted!

Just got a HyperX mic for around €80 yesterday, black week sale. I nearly got an Elgato Stream Deck too but that's around €200 even with a discount, so I'll save the money for now. Need to read more up on it in terms of how to set it up for MSFS etc.

For another drive, clone the old one and put its file on a new one that goes exactly where the old one was. The use a USB to whatever converter ($10) to make the old drive a addon drive.

I used the freeware version of macrium reflect.

That has been going on for at least 5 years now and they turned it more into a week of sales instead of just a day.

I see, feed the greed

I have used Macrium for years, Highly recommend it. I make regular image's of my Windows drive from the USB rescue
