Hi,

I have a Dell Alienware AW34DW20 which is indeed a very good monitor for MSFS. I need a new TV and I was thinking to buy one to serve also as a monitor for MSFS, alone or in combination with the Dell.

I am planning to buy LG OLED 48C24LA because there is a big discount due to back friday. However it must be connected with HDMI while the Dell is connected via Displayport.

Is it a problem to connect just the TV with HDMI, or both, each one with its connection type? I have an Asus RTX 3090 OC videocard.

I am also considering the 55C24LA as a second option. Since it is bigger the 4K image is not so interesting in terms of pixelization. Is this correct?

Thanks.

My Samsung TV is connected via HDMI with no problems. I am running in 4k with no pixelization.

agree.  DP is only better in situations where you need over 60frames at true 4k.  Though make sure you are using a high quality USB cable that supports the speeds of the tv

Which kind of cable? Does it usually come included with the tv? Or it is the ethernet cable for internet instead of wifi?

Good. I always use ethernet cable because it is much faster comparing to wifi router which gives me only 30 % of the connection even when the computer is just 1 meter away from the router.

I bought the LG C2 but in 42" screen size. It looks really good. I am using an 4K HDMI cable and everything works as is supposed to.

You can buy any 4K HDMI from Monoprice. They have a good selection and great prices.

Harpsi -- one other thought about wired vs wireless, is that wired is more secure than WiFi broadcasting to the world. Yes, there is quite a speed difference between wired and wireless.
