Chiapas & Oaxaca

Chiapas & Oaxaca

Starting in the southern most state of Chiapas in Mexico, the route zigs and zags over the mountains and back to the Pacific coast several times, heading northwest, and finishing in the Mexican state of Oaxaca.  Chiapas is home to the ancient Mayan ruins of Palenque, Yaxchilán, Bonampak, Chinkultic and Toniná. It is also home to one of the largest indigenous populations in the country, with ten federally recognized ethnicities. Oaxaca is best known for its indigenous peoples and cultures. The most numerous and best known are the Zapotecs and the Mixtecs, but there are sixteen that are officially recognized. These cultures have survived better than most others in México due to the state's rugged and isolating terrain.

If you would like a Garmin-formatted flight plan tweaked to reflect the TDS GTN750 database, you can download it here.

You know what Bert - it does look a little bit Heinkel 162-ish. Hoping it flies a little better.

Ugly duckling.. yes, but great cockpit layout and an upcoming WT G3000 update to look forward to..

Handles well.. a pleasure to fly 🙂
