Runway contamination DOES WORK! OFC...

Recommended Posts

Sometimes it has been suggested that MFS, although still using the old ground physics with a few modifications, does not cope with contaminated runways, like wet or icy runways.

In my last 3 flights in the default A310 I was able to experience on landing with WET runway and windy conditions, as well as during taxi in an ice-covered taxiway, the effects of that contaimination, with the aircraft having difficulty in comming to a stop in the first case and skidding on the second.

OFC I still look fwd for the promised implementation of a new / fully featured ground physics model coming along with a fufure "SU", but meanwhile it is there and it can be felt and requires attention.
