PMDG 737 Parking Brake won't arm...

Recommended Posts

I've read most of the posts and watched the videos.  I have calibrated my brakes.  I have applied full left and right brake, then the Parking Brake.  But all that happens is the parking brake lever moves and the red light comes on momentarily until I let go of the parking brake command.  Very frustrating.

Any help??

Thanks,

Don Maxwell

Do you release your ‘feet’ brakes before let go parking brake command?

Doesn't make a difference.  I have released toe brakes before releasing parking brake command and after.

If I hold the parking brake command for a few seconds the red light will come on and the brake lever will vibrate and make a clicking sound, but won't stay engaged.  Red light goes out and parking brake lever releases when I stop using the parking brake command.

Very frustrating...

Success!!

Just in case anyone else has this problem:

I had to decrease my extremity deadzone to -30 on toe brakes to achieve full deflection.  This change made the difference and the parking brakes would engage.
