Monument Valley in a Tri-Motor

Recommended Posts

A few years ago I saw a short film, where a Ford Tri-Motor was cruising around this area. As we don’t have a Ford in MSFS, I used a Ju-52 instead, which I found with a Canadian registration in my virtual hangar. I hope you don’t mind.

Roaming around this area is always a treat, but being here in late afternoon or in the early morning is something almost unreal.

I have taken off in Navajo Mountain.

Beautiful shots Bernd.  Why should I mind if the rego or plane isn't "correct?"  Does this actually bother people?  I mean it's only a "game" right?

Great set Bernd. That scenery always reminds me of John Wayne westerns! 🙂

The color of that paint is such a stark contrast to the backdrop...really adds some punch to those shots.

Many thanks, John. I created that paint to get away from the usual silver color you see on this plane.

Indeed, magnificent and rather unique color tones in your pictures, bernd, accentuated by these twilight glows...!!

And the Ju-52 is certainly a worthy substitute for the Ford Trimotor...🙂...
