It’s actually French. 😉

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Remove the first one - the one with the picture of the unit. The one at the bottom (with the Flight Sim logo) is the most recent one and you don't need any other working title mods installed now.

That's pretty confusing. Not your advice, but that there's two updates with the same version number.

And yet with the superb WT G1000NXi, both G1000 installs are are fine together in the content manager, although I think the one points to the other one now.
We could certainly do with a bit of official clarification.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Yeah 100%. Temporary though, it will be a pain in the beginning for people to remove, but in a month or two we'll be past this. It's nice to have this included in the base sim and not have to download from a third-party

Yes, my understanding (could be wrong) is that the two different installs are currently identical, but they will start to diverge as there's no more dev happening on the "old" Working Title version. So removing that version is best.

@MattNischan is the best person to clarify this.

Yes, I saw this but didn't want to labour (labor) the point.  It created a bit of humour (humor) I suppose!

The one with the picture of the GPS unit - remove that.

The one with the Flight Simulator logo - keep that.

Subject to correction, but this has worked great for me.

Two versions, isn't it supposed to be that way, because it is part of the beta?

Could someone point me to a good tutorial on how to program the newly-revised Longitude FMC, including VNAV altitude and speed restrictions? I'm fairly competent at programming the FMC on the PMDG 737. But the Longitude works a little differently. Thanks!

Ah that makes sense. I never used it in other planes (installed it ages ago and did a couple flights, then went back to the Fenix and PMDG) so I wouldn't have known this. I imagine at some point they will clean it up.

Unless something drastic has changed, you shouldn't remove either of the listed WT GN430/530 entries in Content Manager.

One is used solely for default MSFS aircraft, the other is the optional (Marketplace) version, that you need if you want the WT GNS430/530s to replace the older, stock 430/530s in 3rd party planes.

@JYW Has the correct information, yes.

Only select default aircraft are receiving the new GNS in AAU1. If you want to use it on other planes, you must also have the Marketplace package installed.
