Any word on the default A320neo, 748I or the 787X?

edit: and I think some folks forget to mention the main resource of this whole project to make it happen financially that would be MS.

Not to take away from our amazing friends in Bordeaux whom we could not possibly have done this without, but this one is primarily driven by us at WT.

Apologies Matt - well done WT absolutely knocking it out the park!  To be honest I get confused who does what, as the consumer I just really appreciate all this FREE content.  Its mindblowing stuff really.  You could charge for all the improvements and people would pay.

Thomas Derbyshire

No need to apologize! We're just hoping folks enjoy the very much enhanced planes!

Thanks a million WT for all your work!

Strange to say after the beta update none of my controls worked: no elev aileron rudder flaps brakes. Nothing.

I went to MSFS Options Controls and reselected all the controller profiles to default. And then set them back to my normal ones. And then everything worked again.

EDIT: It was not a USB properties issue from a Windows update, it was indeed the beta update which temporarily killed all controller functions. Sometimes MSFS updates mess up your MSFS Option settings like this.

It's crazy how far things have come. @MattNischan Earlier today I came across a thread where I was arguing with you about the possibility of MS charging a mandatory subscription for MSFS. We were both on the outside looking in back then and I was really coming at you haha. I had no idea back then that I was talking to one of the people who would be instrumental in taking the sim to the next unprecedented level. Hats off to you and the WT team for the amazing work you guys put in.

What a great post. We need more of this 🙂

Edit: I just came from the X-plane forum reading mSparks posts and just wanted to smash my keyboard through the monitor. Reading your post was so refreshing after gone through that craziness.

Lol, no matter what MS, Asobo and WT are doing for MSFS, in XP and P3D forums we are still bunch of gamers and they are the hardcore simmers (TM)

I flew P3d exclusively since Ver. 2.0. Prior to that, every flight sim from subLogic Flight Simulator and beyond.

P3d is now a dead and stagnant platform. It may have things “down to the numbers” but it is not innovative and hasn’t been for a couple of years. Comparatively, MSFS is Everything Innovative.

I’ll take innovation over “hardcore siming (TM)” anyday

since this is not the P3D forum you obviously missed their latest announcement. may I refer you to the respective forum for latest details:

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Just did some approaches with the TBM and King Air. WOW!

Finally able to shoot full approaches... Suttering and long pauses are either gone or seriously mitigated. Snow on runways is mitigated, but still weird in places (Truckee?)

Found some small bugs when editing FP's and APP's. Wasn't able to load the FP properly either, so just re-built it in the Garmin.

Overall this beta seems fantastic. Go get it ASAP!

Thank you guys! 🙂

LM confirmed to Helisimmer that this will not be implemented in P3D. Part of the reason being that they do not want to break compatibility with their many third party partners.

I’m well aware of the speculation concerning P3d and the Unreal engine. Nothing has been announced and none of it negates my comments.

My words stand,
