We now have an incredibly capable arsenal of default avionics in the sim.... with FAR greater fidelity than even most payware addons in prior sims. Add to that the TDS GTN 750/650Xi and the WT GNS530/430W and it's a powerhouse! Christmas did indeed come early! colors by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr c700aau2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr tbm2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Agree 1000% The exciting thing for me is the foundation that gives developers. You can easily whack a default G3000 or G5000 into an aircraft and give them an excellent navigation system for free. Let's see some more of the corporate aircraft please, thanks.

December 6, 20223 yr Pick any two of the following: 1. MSFS 2020 will be like Microsoft Flight 2. MSFS 2020 will be a cash grab 3. MSFS ist just for the visuals 4. No self-respecting developer will ever develop a proper airplane for MSFS 2020 5. It'll take years for study level airplanes to come to MSFS 2020 6. Asobo is a game developer. What do they know about flight simulation? 7. Asobo should hire proper experts 8. Asobo knows nothing about "real airplanes" 9. MSFS 2020 was developed for the XBOX - that's really all you need to know. 10. MSFS 2020 is a cash grab. 😄

December 6, 20223 yr Flight plans I make in the World Map aren’t getting imported into the TBM’s 3000. Am I missing a step? i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

I was able to manually enter it no problem but the automatic import was certainly missing. December 6, 20223 yr I discovered this, too, built a flight plan in simbrief and navigraph, exported it to the MSFS flight plan folder -but it won't load into the G3000 - is it a formatting issue?
December 6, 20223 yr I asked about this on WT's Discord channel. The answer: "You can load them into the world map and the G3000 should load it on flight start. But there is a bug we logged where it is not working sometimes."

December 6, 20223 yr I'm not sure I can take much more or this!😂 I'm being overwhelmed with Gliders, Helicopters, payware quality planes and now study level default GA avionics? Have mercy on me. I have enough trouble getting to grips with an iPad let alone a proper G3000!!😀 EDIT Do we need to install the GNS530 mod from the marketplace as well as this? Edited December 6, 20223 yr by jarmstro

With this, the 40th anniversary additions, and all of the third party payware additions coming through, there are simply not enough hours in the day! I need to retire! Shame I am about 10 or 12 years away from that unfortunately, as I could spend all day on MSFS just lately. Do we need to install the GNS530 mod from the marketplace as well as this? Not needed as a prerequisite I don't think, but it is excellent anyway. It currently interferes with a few third party aircraft, but they know about this. If you have problems you can uninstall it very quickly and easily until things get fixed up. Edited December 6, 20223 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). December 6, 20223 yr One thing I've noticed: an improvement in frame rates when firing up the Longitude with the new avionics, even at a detailed payware addon airport.
December 6, 20223 yr Just entered the AAU beta yesterday as I had not opted out after the last beta. I downloaded the GNS430/530 (IIRC) from the content manager. Have not tried the various aircraft with the avionics yet, but it's an impressive list of changes. Thanks WT! 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
