It’s actually French. 😉

Now don't you start!    I was on about the language not the 'cultural appropriation' of the word. :rolleyes:

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Oh wow, the TBM flies like a whole new plane 😊 The vnav together with the arc approaches I did earlier this year in the Kodiak are the best I have ever seen in a sim. Thanks WT.

While not having Navigraph Maps in-game is not optimal, they are still just an Alt-Tab away. But not beiing able to transfer flightplans from the world map is a much worse problem IMO.

One of the most useful things I bought for flightsim is a small $100 monitor that is pretty much the permanent home for the navigraph charts app to avoid alt tabbing.

Minimum Crew

1 Pilot and 1 copilot are required for all operations. But hey, this is a flight simulator, so, we’ll let it slide this time.

Is the WT CJ4 mod also depricated by this update?

From WT Discord:

"Please remove ALL previous CJ4, G3000, Longitude, and TBM mods. These will likely not work at best, or interfere terribly at worst with the AAU1 included versions. Thank you!"

"Flight" is Asobo-speak for a beta program.

It's Microsoft speak. They use it for all their games/programs.

I'm back to having partial displays in the CJ4.  Anyone else?

Are you running any mods that modify the CJ4?

Just tried the default livery here and it isn’t working for me. Strange, neither do taxi lights

Do you have any light mods installed?

I was wondering the same.  Has the content in the marketplace version been rolled into this beta or is it an additional thing?

same here, is this correct or shall/must I uninstall one or the other? both Garmins are v1.0.3 but different size and two of them does not seem healthy. apologies for the bright colours, must be HDR related...

Did some flying with the Longitude earlier - some things I've noticed:

It was overspeeding during cruise. Workaround - dial in another 1000 feet or so altitude or manually control the cruise speed.

I couldn't find any way to import a flight plan and the built in flight planner doesn't show up in the Garmin flightplan. Workaround: Plan the flight in the sim flight planner and bring up the navlog to capture waypoints manually.

Otherwise I quite like the aircraft, the cockpit layout is more logical than the CJ4 and it doesn't take long to learn where everything is.

WT have stated on their Discord channel, that the "no flightplan import" issue is being looked at.

Are you getting an overspeed warning?

No. None.

Matt Nischan from WT replied that the airspeed does get into the barber pole range on the real aircraft. I don't recall seeing any warning though but I reduced cruise speed in the flight plan to mach .83.

Apple uses the same term: https://testflight.apple.com/

// 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

There used to be a pirate theme bar in my area that had a very extensive rum menu. They had at least 200 different kinds. They had "flights" of rum, which consisted of a tray with 4 different rum shots (straight). They had a white flight, which was 4 light rums, a dark flight, which was 4 dark rums, and various other flights from different rum producing countries or regions.

I finally figured out why my flying skills were so bad during betas when Asobo started using the term. I got my hobbies mixed up. 😛
