December 6, 20223 yr With the multiplication of helicopters and floatplanes, it’d be very nice to be able to start a flight outside of an airfield at surface level and not at 1500 ´ above ground and have to slew down. Awkward ! I've just revived somebody else's older thread at the official forum on the topic. Feel free to vote for it. 142 votes is not much. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/start-flight-at-any-position-on-the-ground-cold-and-dark-or-ready-to-go/240426/75?u=dominiquekl Edited December 6, 20223 yr by Dominique_K Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam

December 6, 20223 yr Voted, too. I use FS-FlightControl where you can replace the airplane to an arbitrary point (and height), but this involves of course an additional step and will invalidate your initial flight planning, if you did one. Little Navmap (or others tools) may provide a similar function, but I didn't check.
