My one wish other than those already mentioned. Please improve the night sky. It is a real immersion killer for me. It's a clearly a photo but I have no good answers. The stars and night sky leave a lot to be desired. I am really pleased MSFS is back at the top and continuing to evolve. This platform could be a lot more with a proper vision and creativity. Like combine ship simulator, train simulator, space simulator to name a few possibilities. All complaints aside, this sim is amazing, and I never thought we would see what we are seeing today.

Seasons are my most anticipated but i would like to see AI & ATC improvements for both default airliners and GA aircraft in the game maybe something like a default flightplan traffic file.I would also like custom weather to include different cloud types & a visibility slider and a savable custom weather stations file so you can have different types of weather over certain points of your flight without having to change weather mid-flight especially for flight planning

- Voice recognition. Please, let us use the windows voice recognition for interacting with ATC.

- A Cessna from A2A.

- A WU focused on Alaska with new aerial photos and full coverage.

- Based on the comment of Jorg in the last Dev stream, I highly doubt that 2023 will be the year of a new ATC remake. But I hope that at least they start to work on it seriously.

- And finally, my impossible dreams: A deeply complex addons at the same level of A2A or Marcel Felde's Katana: a C208 Caravan Cargo, a classic piston/analog Super Cub (not the cub, that one is reserved for A2A) and a Cessna 185.

Let's just say I like longhaul flying...

  • Fix for Low FPS/Stutters just taxiing at Major airports (with pretty new/decent hardware)
  • Ground Handling and Landing physics major upgrade
  • Offline AI and ATC major upgrade (in conjunction with FSLTL)
  • World Map Flight Planner major upgrade (see all SIDS, STARS, Approaches to choose from etc)
  • Settings page for colors, themes/filters, brightness, contrast, and other visual config.

Therefore it would be impossible to start a flight. Not smart.

You press the fly button from the menu then it goes to a ready to fly screen, don't see the point of the second screen

My wishes:

  • A proper (optional) career mode built into the sim, start as a total new pilot and start building experience to build your career starting with a Cessna ending with flying airliners,
  • A proper A321 (ceo or neo, but would prefer a neo).
  • More realistic snow management. Some airports like Gardemoen, Arlanda and Vantaa are very very good at snow clearing and manages too keep operations going
even if the entire airport isn't completely cleared from snow. So for some airports it would be nice to have partially cleared airports with some areas/taxiways/runways cleared while others are not.
Also once snowing stops there should be visible snow in the surroundings (and on grass areas within the airport) but completely cleared runways, taxiways, aprons and etc.
  • Northern Europe need some love, both terrain and especially urban areas are still sub par compared to other areas due to lower source material quality.
  • Some sort of (optional) filter function for flight planing.Like If you choose airport X the planing tool will filter out unsuitable aircraft (like 747 at London City Airport)
and destination airports that aren't within the aircraft's maximum range or outside a specified flight time that you set yourself. Lets says you want to a 2 hour flight,
you choose a departure airport, you choose an aircraft, you set your desired maximum flight time and the planing tool will show all suitable airports based on
aircraft choice and flight time limit.

This made me laugh, nice one 🙂

Then you should wish for direct flight loading. Not removal of this critical button as it stands right now!!  Can you imagine how many frustrated simmers there'd be if they could not start the flight?!

wouldn't you start the flight when you press the fly button from the menu screen? The second screen that says ready to fly showing the outside of the plane seems a bit redundant. If there needs to be a further loading screen fair enough but not another button, seems to be poor UI design. XP is an example that does this well.

No, that "Ready to Fly" button is useful because for slower computers that take time to load, especially if you are compiling the PMDG 737 the first time, or you will fly with 3rd party add on scenery that increases the load time, you can go and make a cup of coffee while it's loading, come back, and then click on the "Ready to Fly" button once you are ready to start.  Remember than in MSFS, you can start mid-air if you enter the Lat/Long coordinates.

The last thing I would want, is if I am loading a lot of complex scenery that takes a longer load time, and I am starting mid-air because I entered the Lat/Long coordinates, is to see a crashed plane after I come back from making a cup of coffee while it was loading.  So no, I don't want the XP UI for this, it will just make things worse.

lol go and make your tea before pressing the fly button then if you're not ready. A button that says 'fly' then another asking if you're sure is just silly.
