I'm sure I saw this option somewhere. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2

There's a wishlist item open at the moment but only has 40 votes ☹️ https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/option-to-disable-the-ready-to-fly-button-at-start/321854 Edited December 28, 20223 yr by UKflyer

A button that says 'fly' then another asking if you're sure is just silly. It's a button to load the location you want to fly. And when everything is loaded, another button to click to fly. It's pretty straightforward, and it's a better design, IMO, especially if you spawn mid air. I don't get your logic. If you decide to spawn mid air, it should just start flying mid air right after loading? (that also means you have to sit there as it loads). That's a horrible design decision. The logic works well in XP and expect it to also work well in MSFS.

Have you tried that before? The point is, you don't want the plane to start flying mid-air right after it loads. Like I said, if you walk away from your computer when it loads when you spawn mid-air, you can come back to your computer and then see your plane has crashed, maybe it crashed into the ground, or into the mountain - this can all happen because there wasn't a "Ready to Fly" button. I suspect you have not spawned into a Lat/Long coordinate before mid-air. If you have, the "Ready to Fly" button makes sense. Passengers would be quite upset 😄 The loading doesn't take long, so i'm not sure the difference between; pressing the fly button, loading, start mid-air (3-step process) and pressing the fly button, loading, press another button, start mid-air (4-step process)... i just don't get it.
