Thanks sp From their discord. @everyone , Hoping every one is doing great , Happy to announce that final touches are being put on the version 1.0.7 of the Hjet ! This update overhauls the Hjet's Vnav system and provides exciting new functionalities that enable the HJET to showcase it's true brains as a single pilot flying machine. Vnav climb,Cruise and Descent are now fully implemented , with the ability to auto load and chart complex vertical paths for user designated altitude restrictions , as well as auto loading restrictions from published SIDs,STARs and Approaches , The VSD will chart the most efficient path to comply with both hard and non hard constraints such as "Between/At or Above/At or Below/At" type of constraint. See this screenshot example https://i.postimg.cc/0jTpQyw2/C.jpg This update also adds a fully functional auto Throttle system with automatic smart speed selection based on the phase of flight, and many more exciting features that we'll detail in a video shortly while we are prepping for launch. Development of this update has been gruesome, the beta team have put 26 different beta versions through their paces for the past two and half months, I can't thank them enough for the work put into this update and we are all excited to finally have you enjoy the Hjet's new powers. **This is the full changelog:** =========New features/Functionalities========= (E2 mode) E2 mode is added to "Sim Options", once enabled This mode adds the following: -Fully functional autothrottle -Additional increased MTOW to 11,100 lbs with increased fuel capacity to 3100 Lbs (vs 2800 Lbs in classic model) -Automatic deployment of spoilers on landing/rejected take off , The HJET will detect toe brakes actuation and deploy the spoilers untill ground speed is 30kts or below then retracts it. -FMS/MAN mode added for the AutoThrottles (VNAV Overhaul) -VNAV climb and descent is now fully implemented, and will respect user inserted constraints as well as none hard constraints as AT/ABOVE/BELOW/BETWEEN -VNAV now Auto-loads and follows all published constraints for SID/STARS and APPORACHES -VNAV logic rewritten with emphasis on smooth transitions from different phases of flight -FMS Mode will control the commanded speed based on the phase of flight :Climb,Cruise,Descent,In destination terminal area, in apporach and in final, -FMS mode will also account for speed restriction of 250kts below 10,000 feet -Enhanced GTC page : "VNAV PROFILE" : Home=>Perf=>Vnav ,Pilot is able to edit the pre-defined speeds of the Vnav profile -VNV modes now correspond to phase of flight: V FLCH , V ALT , V PATH for climb, vnav alt hold and vnav descent respectively -When descending , VNAV Path will now add a BOD before level-offs to ensure accurate altitude capture before hand =========Misc fixes and improvements============ -New livery HJET E2 -Optimised resolution of VSD (3rd party Liveries should be updated to make use of this improvement) -VR zoom and collisions are now implemented -Accept initialization button is now function in Initialization page. -Reset initialization button is now functional in Initialization page. -Possible fix for the infamous flyback bug ,where the HJET or any G3000 equipped aircraft deviates from expected path when approaches are activated -Fixed a bug where V speeds would not auto calculate if slightly above MTOW -Overhaul to AP pitch and roll responses for more smoothness -reduced ballooning effect of flaps -revised Icing parameters, to remove persistent ICE DETECTED messages and will now successfuly clear windsheild icing -improved accuracy of fuel burn -Revised calculation of VS REQ and required FPA when in VNAV decent, will now give correct reading in VSD -Approach sim variable is now linked to HJET approach modes for compatability with external hardwares that uses it. -CSC text now displayed on engine dispalys when CSC (Cruise speed control) mode is active, and is now correctly flashing on disconnect
December 30, 20223 yr That change log post from discord is from the 11th Dec and according to the General chat the hope was it would be released today, I've not seen confirmation yet though. December 30, 20223 yr There was an update for the HJ waiting when I logged in this morning (along with Carenado 170 and Waco) so something was definitely released 🙂
December 30, 20223 yr Yes, I just got that new update from OrbX as well. Great update and support from the author as usual. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I did a testflight with the new E Version already, trying out VNAV and the Autothrottle. Works like a charm. The only snag I encountered was a very, very late warning that my landing gear was not extended on approach. I must have been tired, I thought I had used my hardware handle, but it seems I didn't. The "Landing gear! Landing gear!" warning came 40ft above the runway as I started to flare. Which of course was too late to react. Other aircraft warn you as soon as you put the flaps into landing configuration. Edited December 30, 20223 yr by Farlis
December 30, 20223 yr By far the best VLJ IMO. The Visionjet is also nice, but given the choice...both in the sim and in real life, its HondaJet for me. The engineering behind it is amazing, and the innovations are revolutionary. I bet given the chance all the major business jet manufacturers would go with a over-the-wing design as it is so much better for a myriad of reasons. December 30, 20223 yr I really wish someone much smarter than I would do a AAO Scripts/Streamdeck profile for this aircraft. Eric

December 30, 20223 yr There is also a new simbrief profile for the E2 version Simbrief Profile H-Jet E2
December 30, 20223 yr I hope at some point he reworks the engine sounds. I have not been in one of these but the engines definitely seem way too loud and whiny, even up at altitude. This airplane is supposed to be one of the quietest jets out there so it seems odd the engines are some of the loudest I have heard in the sim even with my MSFS engine slider at 25. He should get Boris, the sound guy from the Vision Jet and the FBW 320 to do them....
