Eventually the HDJT will use the new G3000 that is being beta tested right now and it will work so much more realistically.

Thats very good news, thanks Ryan. After flying the TBM in AAU1 with the updated G3000 where I could do whatever I liked to my flightplan, it was a bit of a pain to fly the Hjet again. Although updated I still got the USR and USER waypoints and choosing a D> the plane would turn around and fly to a waypoint I already passed 😅 Looking forward to AAU1 Hjet!

Thanks FPPilot, will have a look!

Here is another tip.  If your flight plan has an intersection or navaid that is on an airway you are using -and- is also the transition point on the published  STAR, back up a step and manually enter into your flight plan the prior waypoint on the airway.  Then select the STAR with the transition.  See if that loads correctly.  I have with trial and error overcome a couple of issues like you describe.  As Ryan mentioned, even though the Marwan modded Hjet G3000 may not be a true implementation, sometimes a workaround can still be found.

You are using the latest recent Hjet 1.07 release? Right?

Same question for you.  You are using the most recent 1.07 version of the Hjet, right?  The turnback bug in the G3000 you describe has been fixed in the Hjet 1.07 G3000, and my experience confirms. If you continue to experience that the the recommendation is to visit the FlightFX Hjet Support forum. The developer is all-in on support.

No Marketplace update pending and I have the E2 version so yes, 1.07. At this moment I best wait till the AAU1 Hjet gets released. If Marwan manages to implement the WT G3000 the way it is done in the AAU1TBM then that would be just marvellous. Looking forward to that.

Recommend you visit the FlightFX Hjet Support Discord and report the turnaround you experienced and your route at the time.

I like the HJet very much, but after using AAU1 I find the underlying (still mainly default) flightplan planner a royal PIA. Not the fault of the developer of the HJet, of course.

Looking forward to the integration of the AAU1 into the Hjet.

Not experiencing anything other than an ocasional flight planning issue "in" the Hjet, and those are certainly a nav database issue, not a Hjet issue.  I am not using the MSFS World page flight planner at all.  I plan at Fltplan.com and manually enter the plans into the Hjet's developer's greatly enhanced G3000.  I also use the FltplanGo app on my iPad.  I am using Navigraph and love the ability to pull up the charts on a split screen on the Hjet's G3000 MFD.  A recent portion of my Excel flight log is in the hidden window below.  Just click to open it.

All I am doing is sitting back and totally enjoying the Hjet.

Hi Steve, thanks for your comments.

And don't worry, the Hjet is one of my favorite planes in MSFS, very addictive to fly this beauty!
