I believe that just deleting the egll airport folder will give you the same result.

Unfortunately not. It will be automatically re-installed.

Are you sure? I don't think so, not automatically.

Deleting scenery directly from the Official folder in Win Explorer causes the scenery to be redownloaded and reinstalled at next start up.

Uninstalling from inside the sim via Content Manager keeps it uninstalled.

Anything considered to be a 'core file' by the sim is automatically redownloaded if you delete the folder. Core files are anything it would normally download if you had just bought the sim or reinstalled the sim.

If you delete the folder of something you got off the marketplace (that includes world updates), it won't redownload.

Aha, so that's different from airports in the Community folder. If you delete an airport there (or unlink it with the AddOnLinker) it will not be reinstalled.

Heathrow arrivals usually use one runway with the departures using the other. On the SimWings EGLL scenery for P3D there was a menu to select with runway for takeoff or landing. Is there any way to get the same thing happening in MSFS?

Bear in mind that these change at 15:00 each day.

Almost every time I check out a thread here, someone points out something that MSFS cannot do that would undoubtedly annoy me. Not being able to separate arrival and departure runways is one of them.

This was due to a conflict with LVFR Static Aircraft.

Thanks for the follow-up for those with LVFR Static Aircraft. Probably saved some rending of garments for others experiencing this problem.
