I was actually kind of amazed myself when I looked and saw only 9 .ASM files left :-> I would guess that FS95 was about 80% assembler, 15% straight C, and 5% C++ (basically the code for the dialog boxes) - and I know most of the C++ from then has been replaced (a couple of times actually, and its about to get replaced again :-> ), a lot of the straight C code has either been replaced or removed, so to answer the OP, I don't think there's any code in the current version that dates back any further than FS95 :->

One of my favorite all-time sims was Sublogic - Airline Transport Pilot(ATP) from the early 90's. I religously played that game until Windows '95 came out with it's compatible version of FS ('95?).
