FSUIPC seems to interfere with Xtouch Mini and Axis and Oh's

Featured Replies

My XTouch Mini along with Axis and Oh’s was working great until today. It stopping working, in that when I used any dials or buttons, Axis and Oh’s no longer was sensing input. Then I remembered I had installed the free version of FSUIPC last night, without testing until today. I had installed it for LukeAirTool. Figuring that could be interfering, I uninstalled FSUIPC, restarted MSFS, and then all was back to normal for my XTouch.

Is this a known issue?

Not that I know of.

Of course it is always problematic to run two apps side by side that basically do the same thing. Maybe the sequence how the apps are started would make a difference (=start AAO first, then the sim, which in turn starts FSUIPC)? Maybe FSUIPC has an option to disregard MIDI devices?

Thanks. I tried installing FSUIPC again tonight and surprisingly Axis and Oh's worked as normal! I ran MSFS first, then FSUIPC, then AAO. It worked. I then tried exiting FSUIPC and restarting that, to see if it would take over control, but AAO continued to work fine! So I don't know if it was just a weird glitch the first time or what. I'll keep an eye on it, but for now I'm pleased that both are coexisting well right now.
