Hi simmers 😃

The Mount Everest does fascinate me a lot, that's why I took a look around today - it's just beautiful there and mighty  😎

 

Starting this trip at Lukla ( VNLK )..

and there we go - the Mount Everest right before me, the giant of the mountains; and my feeling inside - i would call it humility..😇

Some real life information:

Mount Everest is a mountain in the Himalayas and, at over 8848 m, is the highest mountain on earth. It is one of the 14 eight-thousanders and the Seven Summits. Mount Everest has been named after British surveyor George Everest since 1856.

Altitude: 8,849 m ( 29032,15 feet )

First ascent: May 29, 1953

Prominence: 8,848 m

Country: China and Nepal

Location: Solukhumbu, Province No. 1, Nepal; Tingri, Xigazê, Tibet Autonomous Region, China

First climbers: Edmund Hillary, Tenzing Norgay

Mountain range: Himalayas, Mahalangur Himal

Thrilling flight. I like those last two shots especially...the view out the window, and then the tiny Twin Otter so small (almost lost) beside the mighty mountain.
