The SIM or FSUIPC/XPUIPC stopped functioning

Recommended Posts

After MSFS is running and P2ATC is loaded I hit the Connect button and nothing happens. I can't add attachments in Avsim so the log file is copied below. I confirmed FSUIPC is running and the version is 7.3.16. I think the problem started when I upgraded FSUIPC to 7.3.15. I would fall back to an older version but I don't have access to an older copy.

Thanks for any help provide Dave.

Richard

Make sure the SIM is up and running and you are in the cockpit ready to fly before trying to connect P2A to the SIM.

If that doesn't work, you may need to contact  FSUIPC.com to ask what could be going on with how your new version of FSUIPC is failing.

The sim is up and running and other apps that use FSUIPC are running normal. I'll try a few other things and maybe reinstall P2ATC and go back to a pre-beta version.

Problem solved.

I had MSFS running in Admin mode while trying to troubleshoot another problem. Disabled Admin mode and things returned to normal.

Thanks for posting this solution.  I updated to the latest FUIPC version and all of a sudden P2ATC wouldn't connect.  After troubleshooting quite a bit I stumbled across this thread.  Sure enough, I had MSFS running in Admin mode as well. Unchecked that and now P2ATC works as usual.
