Update 1.30.12 kills my smooth gameplay withFrame Generation

Featured Replies

After the last update I'm getting an absolute stutterfest with frame generation activated.

This was supersmooth before at 60 fps capped.

I already reinstalled the graphics driver, deactivated all sceneries but without success. That's definetively on Asobos side.

Interesting fact: when I position a window of another programm (i.e. explorer) over msfs, the sim in background is smooth. When closing the explorer and msfs is in front, the stutterfest continuous.

Now I have to revert back to DX11 and vsnyc with 50% monitor refresh rate with such an gpu.

No other reports of this yet.  Is your signature wrong?  It says RTX 2080Ti.

I will compete a full flight later tonight but on a quick load-in I see no issues with Frame Generation on a RTX4080 driver 528.02. In the FBW A320 Panning in the outside/drone or in the cockpit I am seeing the regular Frame Generation on 100Hz display.

That is just amazing! My 4090 is ordered and on the way and I can't freaking wait! This card is what us simmers have been wanting since FS2004 (thats how far I go back lol) throwing everything at it and still getting over 60FPS. Love it!

@Severne It would be helpful if you changed your thread title as it is a bit misleading.

150 fps with FrameGeneration ON over NY. lousy 74 fps with FrameGeneration OFF.

@Severne I have just bought 4070 gpu and I faced this problem. Vsync on and frame capped 60 in NCP with FG. My monitor doesn't have GSYNC.

When I load the sim everything is smooth but after some time start stutters. When I press esc and switch to menu then wait 1 seconds and turn back to sim no stutter but after some time it starts again.

Did you find any solution?
