>anyone knows how to exclude the stock airport taxiway signs?>I modified an airport, moved the taxiway signs also, but the>signs are appearing twice at the airport, in new aswell as old>position.I don't know what program you are using, but you need to know the golden rule of taxiway signs:***At each airport, there is what is known as a "reference sign", and this sign must be excluded or else no other signs can be excluded.***You cannot exclude some of the signs. It's all or nothing. There is no simple way to find out exactly WHICH taxiway sign is the "reference sign".Because of this, the best way to exclude taxiway signs is to make a large exclude that encompasses the entire airport. What program are you using to edit your airport? A design program should have an option to create an exclusion rectangle to exclude taxiway signs. And do it like I suggest above...encompass the entire airport, that way you are SURE to delete the reference sign.--------If you are coding the xml, you would do it this way:The best method to exclude them is to edit the xml for your airport. If you don't have it, you need Jon Masterson's BGL2XML to convert your airport bgl file to an xml file. Then you can add your exclusion rectangle (see below), and finally then you use BGLCOMP that comes with the SDK to re-compile.You would add the following code to your xml:Please note that you use your own lat/long coordinates. And please also note that longitudeMinimum is the WESTERNMOST edge of your exclude.A common mistake on western hemisphere exclusionRectangles is to forget that the min longitude is the westernmost longitude. If they are reverse then your exclude won't work.Hope this helps youRhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian
