For those really missing a EFB, i have found this addon great for providing all your Simbrief info, either in the in-game interface or Flo.

what I would love? A real EFB app for my iPad (i.e. not going over the browser). That would be something advanced

ForeFlight. A REAL integrated EFB for about $10.00 a month

that's, well, too real 🙂 I'd be happy about a PMDG EFB app on my pad device being connected to the PMDG aircraft in MSFS, just like / instead of the 2D version in the cockpit. same wish also applies btw to FBW and Fenix...

out of curiosity, though, does ForeFlight connect to MSFS somehow in terms of e.g. moving maps?

There is a small app was released back in 2020 that allowed ForeFlight to connect to MSFS.

There are several apps that can link Foreflight to MSFS. I use one called XMapsy, and have been doing so almost since MSFS first released in 2020

Yes I think I used XMapsy! I don't use anymore because I have Navigraph which pretty much gives all I need for the sim

YAWN is my first reaction. All the best to PMDG. I’m sure they are making more money than they ever dreamed of and they have earned it.

I think I’ll just share some of my money set aside for the 900 with some other “more hungry” developers. I know of a few. The ongoing wait and drama over the EFB that PMDG is challenged building because “hard”, but every other tubeliner for MSFS HAS an EFB, well…makes me scratch my head and say time to take a Boeing break.

All the best,

-B

Yawn to you - if you bother to read WHY the EFB is taking longer compared to other aircraft you would understand.

Little Nav Map can easily be displayed on a physical tablet too, if you're looking for simple moving map functionality, ownship position, and airport and navaid info.  There are addon maps that display VFR sectional and IFR enroute charts for the US.  Rest of the world, you have to make do with Google Maps, terrain, or satellite background.

While is this hype about the 900 I don't want to spend a penny on any of their products anymore unless I see significant bug fixies in their products. More so to the 600-700-800 versions. I'm really tired of seeing "new (old) products" with the same deficiencies carried over to broken promises like LNAV, navdata update algorithm, etc.
