FSTraffic - no traffic at destination airport

Featured Replies

Updated to FS Traffic MSFS to version 1.0.2 yesterday. I got traffic at the starting airport, entered my destination airport ICAO, and when I arrived at my destination airport there was no traffic at all ! I had confirmed my ICAO destination airport selection, and traffic density was set at 100%. Traffic selection within the MSFS options were set as recommended by Just Flight. Ground services were set for fast gate turnarounds.

As prior to the update, it had been working fine - so I uninstalled both FS Traffic Fleet MSFS and FS Traffic MSFS, and then reinstalled both - version 1.0.0 for the fleet ands version 1.0.2 for the installer.

This morning I set up a flight from Capetown (FACT) to Durban (FALE). Entered the ICAO for my destination airport and started the flight. I had aircraft at FACT but again nothing at FALE.

Is this a bug - or is it me?

The same thing happened to me yesterday flying from KEWR-KLAS.  After I entered KLAS in the window and confirmed I closed the window.  When I opened it later in the flight I noticed that KLAS was no longer in the box.  When I arrived no traffic.

Same problem with me. On yesterday I made a flight from LFBO to LEIB. I have got traffic at LFBO, but there was no traffic to be seen at LEIB, although I have entered and confirmed the ICAO code in the destination window.

I am on version 1.0.2 too.

Quote from the FsTraffic forum :

I also use GSX and both things work together. However, I have taken some precautions because of the MSFS objects limit (I'm not saying that's the reason of your problems with no traffic at the destination airport, it's just a suggestion):

  1. I disabled all ground services in the FS Traffic Control Centre for all models (to be sure I switched it on and off after the latest update)
  2. I disabled Extra Ground Clutter on the GSX config page
  3. I excluded airport services for all my addon airports

And this is what I do with all my flights:

  1. I import and load my flight plan from Simbrief in the sim planner, set all other things (gate, callsign, flight number etc.) and get to the flight
  2. Any time during my preflight preparations I open the FS Traffic in-game menu and wait a couple of seconds till it enters ICAO of my destination airport itself. I don't click on Confirm and I just close the window

And that's it. It has been working fine since the release day for me and I'm pretty sure Just Flight will fix most of the issues some people have.
