At Feb 2023, one missing feature you'd most like in MSFS?

A relatively simple, functional airport editor. I am so tired of ignoring the blue taxi lights all over the place.

All good suggestions.

Free the camera api. While useable, the camera is still miles behind the other simulators.

These are all great ideas.  I wouldn't mind better ATC but I'm happy to have that on the back burner because there are online and offline options.

Weather was pretty solid until this big server hiccup.  I'd love to see better looking high altitude cloud formations and no random ice building on your windscreen in clear conditions below freezing.

Also would love to see WASM multi threading which would help a lot of previous generation developers as well as newer ones.

From day 1 my 2 main wishes have been:

1/ Quality Business Jets

Now sorted thanks to Working Title & FlightFX....

2/ ActiveSky

This week shows the 2nd is still desperately needed...

A save and restore flight that actually works as it should.  #1 for me by a long shot, and the #1 disappointment from the first day I had MSFS installed.

I've now posted this more times than I can remember.

Basic!

Aerodynamics, as in improved lows speed handling characteristics, there's just way too much elevator authority at low speeds. just way too pitchy in the flare on landing and on rotation during take off for that matter. it just results in over/under controlling and unrealistic porpoising tendencies and just creates bad flying habits

Yaw during turbulence, it's just way over cooked, roll is fine, thermals and mechanical induced turbulence climb and descent is fine, probable even pitch is ok, YAW, No! for crying out loud No!

I don't see "weather" as a missing feature per se it's a giant component of the sim.  For a feature I really miss it's the simple tower and fly-by views in FSX/P3D.   Likely a piece of cake for them to create too!

That's odd for sure - I've never seen that. Setting turned off? Which region are you seeing this in?

All jokes aside, one feature I'd really like to see that I think is low hanging fruit and easy for Asobo to implement would be moving the connection notices to the corner of the screen, making them smaller, and not allowing these messages to pause the sim in any way.

Better terrain/landclass matching when the AI fills in areas that are missing or clouded over. I do not understand why the AI cant figure out what the surround is.  And, they should improve the texturing to something more like Orbx land class.

There are a lot of areas that are hard to fly in.  I like flying in Colombia but all the white splotches everywhere are a real immersion breaker. Same with a lot of tropical areas.  I also think they need to keep a snow free photo tile area even if it is older over a more recent photo tile.
