At Feb 2023, one missing feature you'd most like in MSFS?

Recommended Posts

Better model matching algorithms in multiplayer.

Why do I get to see taildragger 777s show up when my friends fly a DC-3 with a livery that I do not have installed?

What kind of experience does HiFi have w/ voxel-grid based clouds that perform stunningly?

Frankly I'd give them the chance, what experience do MS have producing weather in a reliable fashion? Not the first time it has been borked for days.

Currently, according to the Longitude Portland's METAR is 4 days old......

Yep I agree. The implementation of multimonitor support is poor at best.

A save and restore flight that actually works as it should.  #1 for me by a long shot, and the #1 disappointment from the first day I had MSFS installed.

I've now posted this more times than I can remember.

I agree; pmdg is the only aircraft I can do this correctly.  It is silly why it can't be done at this stage.

I know its not really priority but the most annoying thing I have found since release is the window wipers ability to remove rain.

With all the graphical prowess it delivers it is still missing this what I consider a basic thing.

I know but it just gets me sometimes

Watermasking. Because beautiful waters are amazing to look at and they are not just at the Caribbean and similar places

1. Hedges. Cut field hedges. The uk countryside in the sim looks ludicrous at present.

2. Leafless deciduous winter trees.

The ability to swap aircraft, or at least a livery, on a plane without having to go all the way back to the main menu.
I know there is a clunky way of doing this from the developers menu, but that introduces other issues and is also buggy.

Along with this and kind of related, the ability to change location quickly while in the sim.
I had at least one app that was able to do this but it is now obsolete since various updates, but you could jump to anywhere on the map with just a click, so it must be possible - could select altitude as well.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I'm rather looking at what I've got with MSFS instead of looking what I miss.

But if I have to name 1 thing it would be a study level check in desk.
