Thanks PM but I don't know if I want to continue to use the sim ever again.  It has now become an exercise in sheer frustration.  The precise 60-second pause is back and it just makes me want to toss the PC out the window.

I've done everything to try to solve it from searching the internet such as disabling ALL security, using Process Lasso to force disable Steam's Overlay, turned off everything I possibly can in MSFS and Windows and it worked with the Overlay thing for several months but now for some reason it's back.

It's enough and at the time it was enough for me to stop buying stuff and to just get out of the hobby.  This 1/2 second pause at precise and exact 60 second intervals is probably one of the most frustrating things in my life and it's not worth it to be frustrated like this, better to just quit.

I'll be doing some more testing today.

Sorry Jack for that, just to say i am not seeing something like that, a short stutter from time to time yes but yours, nope.

Don`t give up to fast, take your time, i would not even think what can cause this - maybe some windows task or the bad boy defender ??

Wish you all the luck i can buddy !

cheers 😉

All of what you mentioned has already been turned off completely and I double checked it just now, all off.

nice shots, but must be frustrating...I've been there, a reinstall cured my problems

All my FSX/P3D repaints are here on Avsim, for my MSFS repaints, go to FS.2
