This afternoon, downloaded fine and installed OK. Looks like something, somewhere, different.

You have to fix that at your end. Clear your browser cache for instance, and use https.

There is nothing wrong with my site, but programs at your end believe wrongly so.

This is really nasty.

Yes, I trust your site and program, but no, I am not able to download it to my networked Win 10 machine.

I was able to download it to the main Win 11 machine where Defender gave me three options, i.e. Quarantaine, Delete, and Restore (or similar) where Restore did the job. However, on my networked Win 10 machine that last option is missing after downloading.

The same happens, if I try to copy it from the main machine to the networked one over the LAN. As soon as it arrives on the networked Win 10 machine, Defender deletes it with no option to Restore.

I'm lost at this point.

Kind regards, Michael

Edit: Believe it or not, I copied the unzipped installation file over the network and that worked. Gone is the virus 🙂 But I still would prefer not having to jump through such loops.

I can imagine that, but I don't  know what I can do about that at my end.

Also note that you are in a very small minority of downloaders that report this problem.

Hopefully the next release runs better.

Not sure if this is possible for freeware, but is submittig to MS (and perhaps a few other AV makers) for clearance an option?

Kind regards, Michael

Clearance for what? To let MS fix a bug in their Defender software? 😉
