Quick practice for landings.

Recommended Posts

1 Select desired airport from main MSFS map.

2 Single click and choose arrival (not depart)

3 Zoom the map in and change the runway from MSFS drop  down menu to whichever you desire

4 (Optional) Save this plan from the MSFS map page using a PLN file (not an FLT file)

4 FLY

5 (Optional) engage active pause immediately and set up anything that you need to do.

Notes: MSFS will already place you a little over 1000 feet high, aligned to the runway about 4 miles away, and already dropped your gear and set your flaps for any plane. And on default and some addon or modified planes, also fully entered data into the instruments to set up a landing mode.  Example: ALL on default Airbus. NOT ALL on FlyByWire modified Airbus.

When you load the pln file from the map, the plane will be whatever your current plane is. So you don't have to save 10 plans for 10 different planes.
