There is a good review on YouTube by FilbertFlies and if I remember correctly, the LVFR version came out pretty average. It's OK, but if you only fly occasionally to LEMD then you're probably better off keeping the Asobo version. Check it out.

LEMD is half off right now. I bought it, but haven't downloaded it yet.

Generally, I think most paid airports are better than the default. I consider anything not one of the handcrafted/bespoke airports as default. How much better  they are, coupled with the cost of the airport, is hard to day.

For me, north of $20 I need to fly into the airport or region a lot. Twenty dollars isn't a ton of money, but it sure adds up fast when you start buying.

I have it. I find it is worth the money for the immersion factor.  Much more detailed, airlines park in the correct spots. Performance is similar if not slightly better. I have LEBL and enjoy it as well.

My estimation: LEMD from LatinVFR is not to worth the many. Not one penny. Nearly all taxiways are not usable. There are steps, big wholes and bumps. My plane crashed very often on the way to the RWY, although I deactivated the ASOBO handcrafted airport of Madrid. This is the worst scenery I ever bought from the MSFS Market Store.

Comparing these two, one can also use Asobo's. It's actually not that bad...

And if you judge it more from the performance point of view, ( that`s what i do ) all major Asobo airports are always the better choice - IMO!

cheers 😉

I bought LVFR's LEMD 6 or so months ago.. ( I have only standard version of MSFS, so no "handicrafted version of LEMD). Bumps there and there and screen flickering, but at least it resembles LEMD with custom terminals. It's peculiar that the LEBL of LVFR is very good instead.
