The builders left a hole in the wall specifically for the screenshot 🙂

So did the actual builders. TBH, T2G's is a very good representation...

Ok, I got it yesterday the minute I arrived home, I hove to say this is the best scenery for MSFS in the entire Caribbean region.

the 3D modeling is on part, maybe a little better than SLH, not by much, the texture are also on par. This is the same viewpoint as the picture of TFFR shared earlier

To me what really set this scenery to the next level is the ground texture, it is exceptionally well made, as good as flytampa Copenhagen or Athen. The texture on the apron and runway are crisp, the painted line are sharp, you can see dirt, oil mark, crack and tire mark on the surfaces.

This is a screenshot of SLH TFFR that I took earlier this year for comparison

now back with Taxi2gate

Let me now show you the runway because it is insane how immersive it is

Here is a FullHD video from the cockpit I took 10years ago on a flight from St Marteen TFFG to Pointe-a-Pitre TFFR, so you can see what it look like

Also from runway 30

real life again

Ok, now lets talk about performances, SLH TFFR is already really smooth, but that scenery feel like default airport, NOT A SINGLE HIT on FPS, a locked my FPS at 45 with the Fenix and it never got lower than my 45.

My only complain about this scenery is that, the Gate radius are not large enough, because of that only one gate will be able to spawn heavy jet such as the A330.
But TFFR and TFFF are two airport that receive a lot of wide body aircraft from europe, way more than flight from North America with narrow body. It is the opposite in most of the other Caribbean island, like St Marteen TNCM wich only sees two A330 a day but many narrow body.

Here in TFFR, you got 777, A350, A330, 767, 787 on a daily basis, but in MSFS I saw none of those because they could not spawn. I only saw A320, Embraer E175, ATR and smaller aircraft like that.

Because of that I already started working on a mod to correct that issue, it is almost done, just a few elevation stuff to correct. I wont be able to finish it tonight because it’s February 14, girlfriend wont be happy if I let her for MSFS, but this week for sure

EDIT, I forgot to talk about the terraforming, TFFR runways has to particularity that the runway is a littlebit higher than the apron, and you do see that in the scenery that is great spacer.png

All of this to say that even if you are not interested in T2G TFFR, keep an eye on future Taxi2gate release because they should produce excellent products

Interesting review. Thanks for this

5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW  and 2  22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU,  360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Thanks for the details. Congratulations to the team on an interesting project. Since I don't fly in the area, I'll wait for Orlando. I hope it will cost the same 22 dollars.

Yes I’m also looking forward four of their scenery.

LFPG Charle de Gaule , busiest French airport, connected with TFFR point-a-pitre with Air France and their 777-300ER

TKPK Saint-Kitts, another fun little Caribbean airport that receive flight from other Caribbean island and North America

KMCO Orlando, because Frontier airline operate many flight to the larger Caribbean island (Puerto-Rico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, maybe Antigua)

T2G is an interesting dev for me, and the area I fly in

I'm waiting to see what they'll do with TLPC and TLPL. If they're much better than the ones I bought from FSDG, I'll have to double dip.

They must not know there is already Seattle. Not sure why they would spend time on that

That was the P3D mentality for years and years,  fighting over the scraps of money to be made by numerous developers making the same airports.

Nothing has changed.

Not to mention the likes of captainsim have shown us you can churn out any old junk and in turn make some money on It.

People will buy any old tat.

Taxi2Gate Previews Orlando International Airport... The scene will have the new south terminal or Terminal C
T2G also indicated that the interior of the terminals will be modelled.
