RT vs. FR24 data

Recommended Posts

I've been under assumption that both FR24 and RT use the same set of ADS-B receivers. However the final results differ.

At both KMIA and KFLL (neighboring airports) FR24 provides steady and qualitative stream - arriving planes taxiing to the gates, departing planes taxiing to take-off, i.e., a very good flow of traffic. With RT, the arriving traffic disappears at touchdown and departing traffic shows up after actual take-off only.

Worth to contact RT developer or I'm doing something wrong? 60 sec delay does not help

That's a wrong assumption. See FAQ #20

Don't forget that FR24 does not show aircraft in a 3D environment, but on a 2D map. Small interruptons in data can be covered/bridged more easily then PSXT+RT can do.
