Although I am an FS Global 2005 customer from the past, you can't dispute the cheaper price and more detailed coverage that FS Genesis gives in FSX for less than what FS Global 2008 will cost you.FPS impact is neglible with any detailed terrain mesh I have tried, even of mid-range systems.Gary

FS Global 2008 has no affect on my frame rates and is very well worth the purchase.makes a big difference to the default terrain.

FS2008 will greatly enhance your FSX terrain with no impact on FPS.It's money well spent.

I don't have either....but as a customer I would research my options and go with the clear choice ;)aka price/bang for buck :)

Well, After comparing the two...........even though I own FSG 2008, I would most definitely purchase FSGenesis which has much better terrain resolution and a far better price.BTW after comparing the products I just ordered A lifetime membership at FSGenesis. They are running as special atm and if you purchase a Galaxy membership prior to August 31 it is automatically upgraded to a lifetime membership. A great deal when you look at purchasing these products seperately or over a long period of time.
