February 19, 20233 yr Finally grabbed the PA44 update. I'm not fond of the interior engine sounds. Something seems a little off. Also it flies like a paper airplane. None of their other models act like this...it's extremely twitchy. While the Seminole is a light twin it's a bit more firm in the air at least from my experience. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

And the avionics are now worse, not better.. 😟 Bert

Love the old school twins, bunging the same garmin units into all the twins is making them a big samey, I’d also like a steam Seneca 2. I thought the Seminole update was pretty good, what’s the issue with the avionics?

I expect lots of people want the twins they learned on, (same reason asobo put the analogue 172 in the upgraded packages in the original game). so that’s why the Seneca and Seminole etc are so popular. I like the 414 but flying it is a very different experience to the small twins.

If you don't understand them precisely, they can kill you. mind you, single pilot night IFR is a challenge in itself: AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.

HSI GSI needle does not deflect correctly, STEC autopilot displays incorrectly and seems disconnected from the 3 way switch in the panel, and most annoying, the VS knob now operates backwards.. Not a lot of fun to fly.. Bert
