Is Navigraph Still Causing Perf Issues and Crashing?

Recommended Posts

Getting back into the Sim and this was a thing when I had to take a break a year or so ago.

I remember it caused stutters and possible crashes.   Hopefully that was taken care of?

Hmmm.. never fly without Navigraph and everything works fine for me (granted I don't really know if it impacts my performance as I've never without it.. 😉 )

Good news.   Just saw a random post somewhere describing the same issues from ages ago.    Likely nothing to worry about.    Thanks for the reply.

No probs.

That said, when I open the Navigraph 'widget' in-sim there is a couple of seconds hesitation but after that no issues.

Navigraph and also Simbrief, which is owned by Navigraph, has come a very long way and the recent overhauls to both, plus their integration to each other are fantastic. Absolutely no issues, even on an aging PC.

I never heard of such a thing.

If there is one piece of flight sim software absolutely just works for me it's Navigraph. I will not fly without it. Literally.

Nah, I guess it gets installed with the Navigraph-stuff. Very practical.

Not that hard to find

https://navigraph.com/apps/charts/ingame-panel

Very useful for the VR folks especially, but also good for streamers. I'm strictly a 2D simmer, so I use use the Navigraph iOS app. Nice to have choices.

I use Avliasoft EFB for charts and everything else, Navigraph is only for flight plans  and Airac updates.

On the most current version it's been rock-solid for me. Same as above, a small pause when you're launching then it's fine. I think that comes down to the amount of data you've selected to include in the display, not a software problem.

Implementing this latest version they had some issues with really fuzzy text displays (unreadable for some including me) but that was resolved.
