never mind, glad I could solve one of the most annoying quirks for a fellow VR pilot. 😊

We have a dedicated VR forum so I have split out all the VR posts to that forum. The title of the thread is the same. If you want to discuss VR, please use that form else it gets confusing for some.

Do you have a mouse cursor problem inside each cockpit especially on screens?

Have you checked your assistance settings for turbulence? After installing the beta, it defaults to "low", you should set it to "realistic" if you want to go back to the pre-SU12 levels.

It may well be that the reduced mountain turbulence contributes to your lack of turbulence though, just worth checking!

had no clue will check it thanks!

😼I'm jealous! Sofar cannot even start without removing some of my aircraft.

To be fair, thanks to this thread, I had already removed all Carenado aircraft from the "Official" folder (rarely fly them, so happy to keep them out for now). Also, the way I use my Community folder is to only have the one aircraft / scenery / mods that I am flying, in the folder.

I find the addon programs too fussy, so I just have a folder on my desktop called "MSFS Cupboard" where I keep everything from my Community folder.  I then just pop the content that I am about to use from it, into the Community folder.   I know some swear by the 'addon linker' type programs, but the above works for me.    I do have a small amount of content that always stays in my Community folder; eg.. Rex Accuseason, Lorby AAO, BetterToolbar, etc.  👍

Dunno if this has been asked yet, but does this update finally fix the simconnect crash using AIG Traffic Controller?

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

I see that Asobo has a handcrafted Rotorua and also Westport Airport in NZ. Have to see how it compares to the NZA Simulations freeware.

These were done by NZA simulation for Asobo. They improved on the original freeware. An additional free download if available from NZA on their website that adds moving objects, etc, to these airports.

I have all 4 of my Carenados active and they all work like a charm with SU12 beta.

It's not 100% fixed, but it is much better. In 3 flights TC ran start to finish twice and I had to restart it once during the other.

I'm really enjoying SU12 beta so far.

Flew the Sting S4 in real weather (12 knots out of 280).  At first I flew with the new turbulance slider on "low" and, well, it was like being back in FS9 ..... flying absolutely on rails!

I then set it to "medium" and all of the small, nuanced movements came back, but none of the wild windshear-like-effects I used to see with this place.

In short - fantastic.  Love it.

Going to take the PMDG on a 2hr leg now to see how that feels with turbulance set to medium.

I didn't even try "low". I set it immediately to "medium" but I still think I prefer the pre SU12 turbulence, so I will try "realistic" next.

They all crashed my sim except those 4 I listed.  Temporarily remove all except those 4.

C337, PA34, PA44 (crashes mine but not others), PC12, and Mooney seem to work for most people

If I put only the C170, C337, C182, and the PC12 in, the sim works fine. Once I install any of the other Carenado aircraft, the sim crashes on start-up.
