How to align in runway center during landing

When approach

I entered the runway frequency and put the heading of the runway in course.

Autopilot engaged and app mode but the airplane did not go to the selected runway. I don't know what is wrong.

I want to align the plane to the center of runway using instruments and autopilot But not auto land

I did it But may be something else missing

When you set everything up, did you get the CDI and GS activation on your HSI or ADI? Normally, you have to intercept the course first and then the glide slope for the AP to track in LOC/APP mode. If you never get ILS indication with the CDI oro GS, it won't capture it. If your intercept of the course or GS doesn't happen, it will never capture it.

Nav/Gps switch?

If you were following an FS flight plan. That is nav/gps switch on and nav on.

You need to switch the nav/gps switch off to capture the ILS or VOR.

nav/gps switch off and ILS/APP or VOR.
