I used it with a straight face at work once. I was pretty sure something I was doing wasn't to get the result, but I had to do it to rule it out. But, the task was going to take a bit.

There isn't much fancy or flashy to show off just yet, but it's coming together nicely now - I'm personally very pleased with the progress we've made in the last few weeks. Sorry for being cryptic, but it's more or less how it goes even in the later stages of development. I'm sure you'll get some fancy worded up material eventually, but with customers pushing us hard to get this out ASAP, the time it'll take to put together videos or updates like that is just better spent with my head down, working on something.

In regards to that, what's the status of your Ukrainian engine model main developer? Has he been able to return to any kind of continous work?

While these questions are what flight simmers are most interested in having answered, given the circumstances, surely the more compassionate course of action is to first ask whether he is safe and well?
Ukrainian men have been, and are being, drafted into active military service. From our safe and comfy chairs, it appears that it's easy to forget that it's not just the incovenience of disrupted power supplies that Ukrainians are facing, rather the continuing and full-on threat to survival.

Had you phrased your question differently 'has there been much/any progress on the engine model?', it's unlikely I would have been triggered and written this tetchy response.
It's just that with a real life or death situation affecting progress, *it can seem* as though flight simmers only care for the end product, regardless of what developer(s) are having to contend with in their lives.

You are overreacting and reading things between the lines I didn't say. Therefore I'll refrain to what I tell my wife every time she does that: "What I say means exactly what I say, not more, not less."

Also one might have figured that the question of whether he is able to work already includes the question whether he is safe and well, because you cannot work when you are not safe and not well.

To cut long things short: Please do a 319 🙂

And on the other topic: The Fenix is one of the better examples how a high-quality addon is made. This thing worked from day1 until now without significant problems and is at least for me one of the best addons that was ever made for a home-simulator. And yes, I owned almost every PMDG, LEVEL-D, Aerosoft-Planes in the past 25 years. So no need to rush - make it right, finish it and then publish it - not the other way around, even if we all are desperate to see a new Version of it.

Just to confirm - the software update won't be coming today, of that I can assure you. But a peek behind the curtains, perhaps.

I remember that day. I think your plane was the first one ever I've purchased on Day One.

So, thank you very much!
