"beyond the level of study". Okay.

Ya lets just hope it is at least on a "high fidelity" level. The term "study level" is an overrated term in flight simming these days.

how many are in the team though?

if it's, for example, 4 - that's barely a quarter of a year's salary, let alone any other costs they might have to meet, e.g. development software licensing, anything related to using the aircraft in a sim

that needs to be a steady stream of cash coming in

I loved the MD11 in FSX, wow what a plane, such a great one to fly. Something about the slight "prev-gen" feel to it.  The clunky flap lever, the robotic female RA Callouts ... beautiful

This is so sweet!  Cant come fast enough.   Been a long long time since we had a good MD-11.

If you lean towards Airbus flying more than Boeing, you will love the MD-11

If you love the Boeing more than Airbus, you will love the MD-11.

If you love neither, then you have a good chance to love the mix.

Its a fantastic hybrid right in the middle.

Well if it cost 90K in development costs then not so much...

Bookings vs revenue are completely different numbers...

Beyond study level? Lol

Marketing train wreck incoming.....

Who knows, maybe, an electrical issue on the MD11, will send a signal to Intel extreme utility or AMD equivalent to massively raise CPU voltage

...study level means pushing annunciator light test not long enough during preflight test may result in ENG2 A-ICE OFF Alert during next flightleg or SD page jump to ENG page if stab is out of green band

I did some digging and found out that "beyond study level" means that you are entitled to a 15 minute phone call with a former MD-11 pilot's wife.  She will answer any questions you have.  You are also able to receive an 8x10 glossy photo of her late husband sitting in the cockpit of an MD-10F at no additional charge.  She does not have a photo of him in an actual MD-11, sorry.

So there you go!  😀

Geez. Guy makes one statement at a brief talk and it’s somehow transformed into a broad company marketing promise, which they long ago clarified. Tough crowd.
