Personally I would be prepared to pay especially if Microsoft are considering pulling the plug. What percentage of people who paid at least $60 for MSFS ended up paying for Navigraph? I'm gonna guess it's a minuscule amount. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

If MSFS was subscription based, I'm willing to bet a lot of those people would have stayed away. MS is plugging away at the sim to keep us active in the ecosystem and increase the chances of us buying third party add-ons. In any case, you can bet your bottom dollar that quite a lot more people have purchased from the marketplace than those who have subbed to Navigraph. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. Firstly the market is one hundred times greater than MSFS and secondly it needs no sustained development effort. It's totally different. Hmmm…10 million have played MSFS. By your maths, that means that there are billion people playing The Sims. Lol. In fact, the number is 33 million, so 3 times the number for MSFS. March 3, 20233 yr But here's the thing, As Noel has said, how can they, and why should they, continue to support and further develop the sim if the revenue is insufficient to justify it? I've just installed the beta and it's great. Bit so was SU11. What incentive does Asobo have to continue at this pace? I think it has to go subscription based. Edited March 3, 20233 yr by jarmstro
