Milviz King Air 350 alternate gear extension

Recommended Posts

Now that Milviz gave a bunch of aircraft away for free I finally tried their KA350i, after a few frustrating hiccups (I found out I very unfortunately had to disable WXR to avoid the inevitable CTDs) I think I got it working now, but one thing that bothers me is the alternate gear extension placard, which is quite prominently visiable in the VC standard view, is this actually modeled, I read that it was but cannot seem to click anything

It's under the Pilot's seat.

You'll need to use Shift+BackSpace to lower your eye level to below the seat.

Adjust view point to be able to see the pump lever and the std. Gear controls.

Then pop the Gear circuit breaker and set the Gear down knob to the down position.

Pop the pump handle out of its holder clip by clicking on the clip itself.

Pump the lever until the gear is down.

Looks like the Gear Down lights don't illuminate when using the pump handle, but once down momentarily pop in the Gear circuit breaker and the lights will illuminate.

Cheers

PS. did you download the fixed Hobbs meter gauge files from the support forum ?

Many thanks for that, do you have a link for the fixed gauge?

I found in the link below.

https://milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=105&t=11402

That said it doesn't appear to have any functional download links anymore.

Might be best to start a thread in the AVSIM Milviz forum and ask Slayer68.

Tis a great plane though 🙂
