The new Toliss NEO looks really cool...

Recommended Posts

Yes, it looks so good. I have their A321 but I’m very tempted.

Also have the Fenix A320 for MSFS, but I’m starting to use XP12 and really liking the XP flight dynamics and ground handling better than MSFS. Missing the MSFS terrain also.

I believe we all wish we could have a merge of:

- The flight dynamics in XP (some aspects) DCS World and IL-2 Great Battles (globally, because both more fine tuned than XP)

- The details of systems, weather and functionalities in custom simulations like those of Aerowinx PSX, Airlinetools A32x, Condorsoaring...

- The scenery and some aspects of weather depiction in MFS 2020...

Install AutoOrtho, and you have similar streamed Bing worldwide satelite scenery. Not only that, you get the option of choosing map provider.

That would be perfect!

It’s difficult to use? I’ll give it a look.

I've been watching the preview streams and it looks like Toliss has really stepped up their texture work significantly.  They've always been fantastic from a systems standpoint and this one appears no different but now with the added eye candy.  Day 1 purchase for sure.

I have the A321 and agree that Toliss has seemed to step up their texture quality. I am looking forward to it and will purchase as well when its released.

cockpit textures don't look all that great to me

why have they made it look like some old military jet from the soviet era

This has never been a Toliss strong point.  Compared to the A319 and A321 though these new textures might as well have been done by Michelangelo 🤣.

I honestly smile when I read some simmers and youtubers comments regarding the quality of an addon aircraft...

Nothing against, each to her/his/their own, but how much more all of this is important while some are hapilly willing to not even acknowledge the amount of work put into the flight dynamics tunning and systems implementation / detail / accuracy... Instead they spend a good amount of time and focus on textures, wear in the cockpit, the reflections on the cup of cofee in the captain side console, those scratches in the windshield...

I don't even use external view 98% of the time, and I opt right away for any settings that completely abbolish the cabin graphics - what the heck do I want to look at the detail in the pax cabin, the toillets, and whatsoever ?

Well, that's probably why I feel so great with Condorsoaring for soaring simulation, Aerowinx PSX for the simulation of a 744 and it's various types of operation, and maybe in the near future again Airlinetools 32x 🙂

My goal isn't to fly between buildings. But I think satellite imagery + 3D buildings is better than satellite imagery alone, and I don't think that's a controversial position that would set off a "sim war."

You have to understand that for some, x-plane is "not a" simulator. Not a building simulator, not a weather simulator, not a scenery simulator...

On topic: I own the A319 and I love it, the feel of flying it and the system depth is quite impressive. However, the default sounds are pretty meh, I have the BSS sound pack and one from FT Sim.

I watched a few videos of the A320 but can't figure out whether the sounds are better. For a $90 plane they should be.
